Linda Centore PhD, ANP- Division chair and health sciences clinical professor, psychologist, and nurse practitioner. Research focus: communication in the dentist-patient relationship, oral health care for diverse populations, and tinnitus. Teaching focus: the doctor-patient relationship, history taking competency exams, informed consent competency exams, treatment of dental fear, conflict resolution, and risk management within the student pre-doctoral clinic. Evaluates, consults, and provides behavioral co-management of patients with special needs receiving dental care.


Baharak Amanzadeh DDS, MPH- Health sciences assistant professor and course director PCC 148 Community Dental Education. This program provides dental students with community-based learning experiences serving patients in federally qualified oral health centers. Research focus: Community-based participatory research; School-based services and research; food advertisements; CAMBRA, diet and children's and adolescent oral health; health disparities; global oral health; dental health literacy and education; ethnography and qualitative research; art in healthcare; professional confidence and well-being for dentists; program planning, need assessment and evaluation of dental public health programs; social media and video in public health. Provides preclinical teachings to pre-doctoral and IDP students as well as inter-professional courses to the students at the School of Nursing and Medicine in the areas of Oral Health and Global Health.


Ram Vaderhobli DDS, MS- Clinical X Assistant Professor and Site Program Director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program (AEGD) and California Regional Assistant Director for the LMC/UCSF AEGD program. Research focus: Dental materials, Dental Informatics, and laser dentistry.  Educational focus: AEGD post-graduate education, laser dentistry, biomaterials, minimally invasive dentistry, CAD-CAM, Esthetic Dentistry and Dental Informatics. Provides didactic and/or clinical teaching at the pre-doctoral and graduate level domestically and abroad. He gives CE lectures on Dental materials, Lasers in Dentistry, CAD/CAM and is a product evaluator for numerous Dental companies. 


Nelson Artiga-Díaz DDS, MPH- Health sciences clinical professor emeritus. Former course director of PCC 148 Community Dental Education Program providing community dental experience for dental students in federally qualified oral health centers. Research focus: Community Clinics-Based Translational Studies. Educational focus: Admissions, recruitment, and retention of underrepresented minority students; health policy changes to diminish oral health care access to care disparities, clinical instructor of minimally invasive restorative techniques, radiology, restorative dentistry, endodontia, exodontia, oral medicine, and periodontology to pre-doctoral students, IDP students and AEGD Residents. Certified Spanish interpreter and fluent Spanish native-speaker.
