Endodontics

The Division of Endodontics includes Pre-Doctoral and Postgraduate training programs as well as our Faculty Endodontic Practice.

The Endodontic Divison integrates new knowledge in the basic and applied biological sciences with modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of pulpal and periradicular diseases.

Description of Services

Endodontic specialty clinic provides the following services: nonsurgical root canal treatment, root canal retreatment, and apical surgery. A comprehensive exam will be performed at the initial visit to properly diagnose your condition and to determine whether the tooth is a good candidate for endodontic treatment.

Patient Care

Fee-for-service: The clinic accepts a wide variety of insurance plans and is a PPO provider for Delta Dental. We willassist with completing and submitting forms electronically and/or by paper.

Special instructions for new patients

OUTSIDE REFERRALS: Your first visit is a screening appointment only. You will not receive any treatment on this visit unless an opening is available at that time.

Please send: UCSF Faculty Referral Form, current x-ray, copy of insurance card and picture ID, and patient contact numbers.
